Are Smart Flour Foods certified gluten-free?

Smart Flour’s products are certified gluten-free by GFCO and are frequently tested, in accordance with GIG.

Our products themselves are free of the top 8 allergens (egg, soy, dairy, gluten, fish, shellfish, tree nuts, peanuts and wheat). Some products are produced in nut free facilities, some are not. All of our facilities have extensive allergen control programs, including processes for sanitation validation prior to production. Allergen contamination is a remote possibility but it is possible.

Are Smart Flour’s products vegan?

Yes! Here at Smart Flour, we want to offer the BEST products to our restaurant partners that enables them to deliver culinary driven products to diners with many different dietary requirements and/or preferences.

Are Smart Flour’s products only for those who are gluten intolerant/diagnosed celiac?

No, not at all! Our products are so tasty and nutritious that they’re great for everyone. In fact, we have many gluten-loving folks who also LOVE our products.

Our restaurant has specific formats for our products. Do your breads/crusts come in other sizes?

Possibly. We are always looking to expand our offerings and are committed to working with our operators. Contact us to find out more.

Can I cook from frozen (crusts)?

Yes! Our crusts can be cooked from frozen, although we do highly suggest slacking prior to cooking for optimal results. Many operators choose to cook directly from frozen to prevent any possible cross-contamination while defrosting, and have had great results.
