Understanding the New Values of Food

At the beginning of every year, many consumers have the “new year, new you” concept in their mind; THIS is the year they are going to cut calories, drink less soda, or make healthier choices. 

One thing that isn’t often considered is the other values that food ‘brings to the table’:

Would you be more willing to support a brand/restaurant that share the same values as you? Is a brand/restaurant more likely to be top-of-mind if they take stand on global issues, such as food insecurity?

If your answer is “yes”, you are part of the large portion of consumers who think food brands should engage in key social issues.
